Many will charge a small fee for this, but it might be well worth your while to do that rather than return the truck. This of course makes the most sense if you are moving intercity rather than interstate.
By the way, a lot of moving truck rental locations will also sell you packing boxes for your move. So if you are going to be renting a van from them for your move, then it makes sense to get the boxes from them. These boxes are the easy to take down and can be re-used or recycled.

Another idea for your move would be to rent a van from a company that drives for you and brings you the truck, dolly and furniture blankets. You load, they drive. Not a bad alternative if you don't have experience steering large trucks around.
