You will want to know if they are members of the Chamber of Commerce and/or the Better Business Bureau and you will want to know if any of the New York moving companies you are considering have been sued. And above all else, you want to know which New York moving companies are licensed, have good reputations and provide a quality service to their customers.

Unfortunately there are companies who aren't licensed and have advertised false addresses. You better believe any complaints would be hard to resolve if this were the case with your mover.
