How To Choose The Right Box Sizes For Packing
Posted by admin on August 7th, 2007 filed in RelocatingWhen relocating, you need to pack first. Packing is so important that if you do it wrongly, you are going to waste lots of time and money because stuffs get “lost” and damaged. One of the things to consider is the right box sizes.
The packing boxes you choose should be the right size so your items inside are well protected. Try fitting large items into smaller boxes and you will them breaking in the moving truck. Note that boxes should always close easily and must be secured with packing tape.
Avoid using boxes that have been already been used a few times before. This is because they may not be strong enough to hold the weight. It is important to ensure that all boxes are sturdy so your items will not fall out when moving. If you are unsure about how strong a box is, then don’t use it.
Movers may not move your boxes unless they are packed using new, strong boxes. Check with your moving company before packing so you don’t have to empty boxes and start all over. Some companies do provide boxes for you. You may want to ask before buying your own packing boxes.
